No. You do not need to lose a single pound or wait for a “perfect” body. Boudoir is about celebrating the body you have right now. Guided posing, flattering light and client concierge styling do the work. Every Warrior, of every shape, size and age, gets images that feel powerful, beautiful and true to who they are.
Yes. Every session at Ayla Quellhorst Photography includes professional hair and makeup. That holds in Austin, in Tacoma and on our destination trips, where you also get multiple hair and makeup looks. You arrive, relax and get pampered before you ever step in front of the camera. You can focus on feeling amazing instead of getting ready.
Ayla photographs every session herself, and an assistant generally joins her. That is it, so your session stays private and focused on you. Want a little extra support? You are welcome to bring one friend or hype person, age 18 or older, to cheer you on while you shine.
Plan to be with us for about four hours. Your day starts with professional hair and makeup. Then you move into your photoshoot with three looks styled with our client concierge, while Ayla guides every pose. After a short break, you finish with your same-day reveal. It is unhurried, pampering and built to feel like a true luxury experience.
A same-day reveal means you see your images about 30 minutes after your shoot ends. There is no waiting weeks and wondering how they turned out. Every session works this way, in Austin, in Tacoma and on destination trips. That moment of seeing yourself the way we see you is often a Warrior’s favorite part.
Privacy & Delivery
Only the people you choose. We never share your images without your written permission. Privacy is at the heart of everything we do. It is why so many Warriors trust us with something this personal. You decide what stays just for you, what you give as a gift and whether anything ever goes public.
We deliver your products directly to your home, typically within one to two weeks of your session. There is nothing to pick up and no long wait. Whether you were photographed in Austin, in Tacoma or on a destination trip, everything you chose at your reveal arrives right at your door. It comes ready to love.
Locations & Booking
Our home studio is in Austin, Texas, serving Warriors in Buda, San Marcos and Kyle. Every month, year-round, we also hold sessions in Tacoma, Washington. Those serve Seattle, Olympia, Gig Harbor, Puyallup, University Place, Fircrest and Federal Way. The Tacoma location changes each month. That keeps every session creative and gives you more variety with the same quality.
Destination boudoir trips are yearly sessions in select cities with limited spots. They let Warriors outside Austin and Tacoma get the full experience close to home. Our trips visit St. Louis every April, Anchorage every November and Las Vegas every February. Houston and Dallas come in summer 2027, and Tulum, Mexico in December 2028. We also offer On Location sessions.
Yes. Boudoir is for everyone. Alongside classic boudoir, Ayla photographs male boudoir, intimate couples, beauty, shower and nudescape. She also shoots shibari, BDSM (implied and aesthetic only) and On Location sessions. Couples sessions are playful, loving portraits of two people. Male sessions celebrate confidence just as boldly.
