Boudoir is something that I have wanted to do for a very long time. I just never had the time to actually do it in the past. I’m actually very bad about making time for me and doing things I enjoy. Having five kids kind of eats away at your personal time or any time you have available. I was starting to feel drained and not seeing the same woman I once used to see when I looked in the mirror. I saw this post on Instagram for a chance to win a boudoir session and just thought “What the heck? Why not throw my name in the pot and see what happens?”. I was so surprised when I found out I had actually been chosen!
At first I was nervous and most likely overthinking this the whole thing. Once I sat down to get my hair and makeup done and started talking with Ayla and her crew I immediately relaxed. The whole experience for me was well worth the long wait . Seeing my pictures definitely reminded me that I am beautiful even with my wider hips and stretch marks.
Just let loose and have fun. It’s not as scary or nerve racking as you might think it is.
