I am 24! Currently working in tech support. I spend my free time playing video games, doing photography, and baking.
I grew up always hating my body. I saw all these beautiful skinny women in magazines and TV shows and looked at my body and realized I don’t look anything like them. I struggled with an eating disorder for a few years because of it. Now, that I’m in recovery and going to therapy, I’m doing my best to love my body no matter what. I follow a few boudoir photographers on tik tok. I always enjoyed seeing the different poses and seeing how amazing those pictures turned out in tons of different body types. I always thought about doing a shoot myself, but I’m very self conscious and didn’t think I had a good enough body to do it. I was just scrolling through tik tok one day when I came across Ayla’s Boudie Call tik tok! Im not particularly lucky so I applied for the fun of it, not thinking I would actually be selected. When Ayla contacted me I was shocked.. but also excited. It felt like it was meant to be. I was very scared about being exposed in front of random strangers that I’d never met before. I decided to push myself out of my comfort zone and thought this could be a good way for me to gain some self confidence.
The session was awesome. I was so scared to be exposed like that but the whole team made it an amazing experience. They made sure I was comfortable, talked me through all the steps, and reassured me throughout the whole thing. The best part for me was seeing the pictures after it was done. It was kinda like seeing myself for the first time. I saw myself in a completely different light. It was definitely a confidence booster and made me feel beautiful like I never have before.
I would say this is an amazing experience. Ayla and her team do an amazing job with the pictures and the experience.
Take the advice Ayla gives you!! Stretch, eat, and drink lots of water! It definitely is a bit of a workout! I ordered the booklet and I love it. Definitely think about upgrading from the base package because it’s very difficult to narrow down your picture choices. I loved the whole team. They were all amazing. Made me super comfortable and answered all my questions, even the dumb ones!
