I’m 25 years old and I decorated cupcakes for a living.
I’ve always wanted to do a boudoir photo session before so when I saw the online enter to win thingy I thought “why not? Let’s see what happens!” And I ended up winning! I was a little worried that it would be awkward because I’ve never been in front of anyone in lingerie besides my (now) husband before.
I just expected a standard photoshoot where they tell you to kind of smile and do whatever. But this was way different! They had me pose in a bunch of different positions. It felt weird (in a “I’ve never sat like this before” kind of way) but I’m very trusting in the process. And everyone there was so nice and kind and hyped me up in a way that felt genuine and not creepy at all! No skeezy people here! I think my favorite part about the session was seeing the creative ways that the studio space was used. I a sucker for behind the scenes stuff and I loved all the unexpected ways that some of the pictures were taken. When we looked at the pictures i was shown an edited version and an unedited version. I was amazed at how good even the unedited pictures looked. I’ve never really seen myself as conventionally attractive or sexy before this. And I have a newfound appreciation for my body. I definitely look at myself in a more positive light.
